The Federal Communications Commission launched a temporary program to help families and households struggling to afford Internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. At their meeting on May 5th, the Town Council adopted two resolutions to extend the expiration dates of Temporary Outdoor Use Permits and Right-of-Way Agreements to allow restaurants and other businesses to continue to provide outdoor dining, other retail/commercial uses, and curbside pickup. The permits and agreements will expire by May 8, 2022.
