Earlier this year, the Fairfax Town Council proclaimed the Northern Spotted Owl as the Town Bird. Now, the Fairfax Open Space Committee (FOSC) is inviting community members to help bring this symbol to life!
We’re seeking original artwork featuring the Northern Spotted Owl. The winning design(s) will become the official community image for use on buttons, t-shirts, hoodies, posters, and more. Proceeds from merchandise sales will support FOSC’s fundraising and open space preservation efforts.

Selection: An “official” Northern Spotted Owl design will be chosen at the November 25 FOSC meeting and refreshed every few years (similar to the Fairfax Festival Poster tradition).
