About the program
No-Fee Grief Group for the Fairfax / San Anselmo Community
In response to the recent tragedy, Fairfax Recreation and Big Life Change Therapy are offering a space for the adults and parents of our community to gather, reflect, and support one another through the experience of grief and vicarious trauma. This space is open to anyone who has felt the emotional ripple effects of this event. Whether you’re feeling sadness, confusion, anger, numbness—or something you can’t quite name—your experience is valid and welcome here.
Trained therapists will be present to gently hold the space, offer support, and help guide a shared conversation rooted in care. This is not a formal therapy session, but a chance to be together as a community. You are welcome to participate however feels right to you—there is no “correct” way to grieve, and no expectation to speak or share.
This event is intended for adults. If you are seeking support for children or teens, youth services are available through Archie Williams Wellness Center contact Katrina Southard, LCSW, PPSC.
