SNAP / CalFresh Program Update
Recent changes at the federal level have disrupted the distribution of SNAP/CalFresh benefits, leaving many households unsure when—or if—they will receive their monthly food assistance. Because of the uncertainty, thousands of Marin residents who depend on CalFresh may experience gaps in benefits and face immediate food insecurity.
To help bridge this need, Marin Community Foundation has launched the Food on Every Table Fund, created to ensure that local families can continue accessing healthy food during this period of instability. Community donations, along with County support, are already helping expand emergency food resources across Marin.
