Fairfax Residents – Help Save Lives!CPR poster for event

And help us map lifesaving AEDs across Marin County!

This July, leading up to the 14th Annual Sidewalk CPR event, Marin County Emergency Medical Services, in partnership with Marin Health and Human Services, local emergency services, community partners, and PulsePoint, is launching a county-wide push to locate and register Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

AEDs are lifesaving devices used to treat sudden cardiac arrest, and when used quickly, they can double or triple the chance of survival. Despite their proven impact, many AEDs in our community are not registered or easy to find.

That’s where you come in!

How to Participate:Spanish language CPR poster

  • While going about your day, keep an eye out for AEDs in public places.
  • Snap a photo and submit it through the AED Scavenger Hunt submission form.
  • There’s no limit to how many
  •  AEDs you can submit.
  • EMS will review all entries, and any unregistered devices will be added to the PulsePoint network.

Prizes will be awarded to the top five individuals who find the most unregistered AEDs! Five $100 gift cards will be handed out to those who submit the most unregistered AEDs.

By participating, you’re helping build a heart-safe Marin and bringing us closer to the 4-Minute Community model, where rapid response can save lives.

So, the more you participate, the greater the impact — and the better your chance of winning a prize.
